Olympic Center & Legacy Sites
Just minutes from Boha, the Lake Placid Olympic Center and its Legacy Sites stand as living monuments to the 1932 and 1980 Winter Games. Just a mile from Whiteface Mountain, High Falls Gorge is one of the Adirondacks’ top family attractions. Walkways, bridges, and glass platforms reveal four dramatic waterfalls, with trails through ancient forests and riverside picnic spots. In winter, the gorge transforms into a magical setting for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
